The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency, Madam Catherine Abelemah Afeku, has been commended by the party’s executive members for her selection to the NPP 2024 Manifesto Committee.
The Party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, appointed Madam Afeku to the Committee on Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, which Mr. Akwasi Agyemang and Ms. Juliet Asante are co-chairing.
In a statement released and signed by Constituency Secretary Mr James Tani, which was communicated to Ghana News Agency, the Flagbearer was thanked for having trusted Madam Afeku to contribute her knowledge to the creation of policies that would further the tourism industry.
“We assure Vice President Dr Bawumia of Madam Afeku’s resolve to bring her rich expertise to bear in drafting a solid and results-oriented manifesto, which will bring transformation to the Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts sector of the economy, it said.
