West Fijai International Hotel at Port Junction was not spared by the rains after several communities in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis submerged following torrential rains on Wednesday, June 15.
The main wall of the hotel has collapsed and the debris has blocked the road causing huge traffic on the Fijai/Kojokurom road.
Officials from the Ghana Police and National Fire Service have arrived at the scene to direct traffic and also control the situation in the area.
