GES takes action on viral video – Skyy Power FM

Following the release of a shocking video depicting an act of violence between two Adisadel College students, the Ghana Education Service (GES) acted right away.

Concerns concerning the safety of pupils inside the nation’s educational institutions have been raised in response to the viral film that has been making the rounds on social media.

In a statement written by Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the head of the public relations unit, GES expressed its great sorrow and vehement condemnation of the perpetrators’ inhumane deeds.

The GES is steadfast in its commitment to upholding a safe and secure learning environment for all students across the country because it sees acts of violence in schools as wholly unacceptable and damaging to students’ overall well-being.

The alleged offender has been suspended from the school pending an inquiry by the administration in reaction to the event.

While the GES commends the prompt disciplinary actions, it has instructed the Regional Director of Education to work closely with the relevant law enforcement agency as well as the school administration.

This concerted effort aims to ascertain the incident’s true cause and implement the necessary legal sanctions.
