Ghana is facing challenges but at least, we have a stable power supply

The estranged Deputy Secretary General of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is hopeful that Ghana will thrive amidst the economic challenges it is facing recently.

Ghana is facing a number of economic challenges since the advent of the Coronavirus pandemic and now the effects of the Russia-Ukraine war.

These factors have really affected the country as the cedi rate to the dollar has skyrocketed to an abnormal level.

This has got a lot of Ghanaians complaining as they claim the economic hardship is unbearable.

Koku Anyidho in a tweet said that even though the country is facing a lot of economic challenges there is a stable power supply and the country has not crushed it.

He said, “Ghana is facing challenges but at least, we have a stable power supply, we have not run out of petrol/gas, salaries are being paid: we have NOT crushed! Let’s accept the negatives and embrace the positives. Ghana shall not die”

These statement has caused some serious reaction among social media users as some are alleging that Mr Koku is subtly jabbing the former President, John Mahama.
