The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Mpohor, Mr Ignatius Asaah Mensah says the health sector in his district has seen massive improvement under his leadership.
Speaking exclusively to Skyy News, he indicated that through his leadership Mpohor now has a poly clinic with a resident doctor for the first time which residents would desist from travelling to Sekondi-Takoradi to receive health care.
He indicated that health is one of his top most priorities and as the DCE, he will continue to invest and improve that sector in his district.
He said, “Mpohor District can for the first time boast of having a resident doctor who will be managing our new poly clinic with his staff.”
“In relation to CHPS Compound, we have built a new one in Tumantu, a community that never had a health centre… health have been currently posted there and the clinic is fully functional now, now health issues and Tumantu will be a thing of the past.”
“I can say health service under my tenure as DCE has very much improved.”
