The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ahanta West Constituency, Mr Ebenezer Kojo Kum is urging the public to ignore rumours of his resignation.
The rumour circulating in the past week was that the Ahanta West MP on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has tended in his resignation letter due to ill health and the constituency is gearing up for a by-election.
Speaking on the Jolly Breakfast Show on Monday, July 31, the MP denied these claims and said, he is very healthy and has been carrying out his parliamentary duties as well.
He said the most important for him is being healthy and alive which he is and carrying out his duties as MP.
He said he cannot be blamed for stalled projects in the Ahanta West Constituency, particularly roads since they are due to external factors beyond his control and he is working hard to get these projects completed.
