The Member of Parliament for Essikado-Ketan Constituency Hon. Joe Ghartey says he is willing to throw his support and weight behind any of the 3 aspirants who win the primaries to become the NPP’s candidate to vie for the position of MP for Esikado-Ketan.
As we speak, 3 people namely, Charles Bissue, Anna Horma Miezah and Giovanni Nana Osei Tutu Agyeman are the ones who have declared their intention to contest for the seat on the ticket of the NPP.
According to Hon. Joe Ghartey, it will be imprudent of him to declare his support for a single candidate, especially when he’s friends with all of them.
He said, “All the 3 aspirants are my friends and I have a history with them so it will not be wise to only give my support to one of them. I will support any who wins to become the MP of the constituency.”
Speaking on his time served in government, he said his greatest challenge was serving as Minister of Railway Development. He says railway infrastructure is the most difficult to undertake and he is happy and proud that he was able to get the experience.
