Kojo Antwi arrested for killing step-daughter

A Twenty-Seven-year-old Kojo Antwi in the Assin Awisem in the Central Region of Ghana is in the grips of the police for assaulting and killing his two-year-old stepdaughter.
The young man, also recognized as Ebenezer Antwi report said killed her stepdaughter, Victoria Twumasi in a bush, buried her and went into hiding thereafter.
He is reported to have killed her with weedicide (gramoxone) and buried her under a cocoa tree.
Prior to the murder of the two-year-old girl, Kojo Antwi, the report said he assaulted the girl during a Health Insurance registration exercise at Assin Awisem for attending to natures call in her clothes at the venue.
Narrating the incident to the journalist, the mother of the two-year-old, Alice Gbeve said Kojo Antwi was said to have gotten angry over the girl’s behavior and hit her on the ground, causing her to fracture a leg in the process, and later took her away to the bush where he murdered her and bolted.

An Assembly Member for Assin Awisem Obrayeko Electoral Area, Ayuba Andoh told the journalist that, the Kojo Antwi was later arrested in a nearby town where he sought refuge upon police intelligence.
3news.com reported that he admitted killing his stepdaughter and revealed he did so with weedicide (gramoxone) when he was arrested.
The police had since retrieved the body of Victoria, following a search and have deposited her remains at the Twifo Praso Government Hospital for autopsy.
Central Regional Deputy Police PRO, Sgt Isaac Evans Ettie has confirmed the incident to the media.
