Lawyer Boahmah files nomination to contest Effia seat

An aspiring Member of Parliament for the NPP in the Effia Constituency, Lawyer Isaac Yaw Boamah has filed his nomination forms at the party’s constituency office.

Lawyer Isaac Yaw Boamah addressing the gathering after filing his forms called for a clean campaign without insults.

He also called for peace explaining that the parliamentary primaries were an internal campaign and there was no need for bickering and disunity.

Lawyer Yaw Boamah emphasized that he was committed to doing and saying what is right, and encouraged his followers to do the same.

According to him he has done everything possible as demanded by the party to be able to contest in the 27th January primaries and is confident that his campaign of “fresh ideas and a new hope” would win the delegates over to his side.

On his part, Mr. Philip Nyarko the Effia Constituency Secretary said the NPP cannot “break the 8” when there’s division and disunity within the party.

He called for members of the party to rally behind the eventual winner so that they could put up a unity front and work on developing the country.

He also implored lawyer Boamah to talk to his followers to think first about the party before any individual.

Before filing the nomination papers, supporters of Lawyer Boamah organized a health walk through the principal streets of the Effia constituency.
