Madam Lydia Abakah has been crowned the 2023 Skyy Mother of The Year at this year’s Mother’s Day celebration.
The event organised at the Conference Hall of the Anaji Choice Mart on Sunday, May 14, saw hundreds of mothers come together to celebrate this special day.
It was a night of fun and excitement as mothers did not only come to enjoy their dinner but walked home with gifts from Reflo’s, Onga, Latex Foam and First Samuel Enterprise.
Out of 5 finalists of extraordinary mothers who are doing wonderful things in their respective spaces, Madam Lydia Abakah came out first and promised to utilise this opportunity to reach out to the less privileged in society.
She said, ” I want to do a project about school dropouts, my case study will be Effia Nkwanta and will look forward to talking to teenage mothers and pregnant ones to encourage them to return to school, this is because I was once a school dropout, I gave birth whiles in SHS.”
