In the Bole sector of the Savannah region’s Mankuma farming village, a man accidentally shot his 12-year-old nephew to death.
It was reported that the boy’s mother had left him with his uncle while he was going to the farm.
The uncle accidentally pulled the trigger of a locally made revolver while carrying it while riding a motorcycle to the property, killing his nephew instantly.
Since then, the deceased has been buried.
The Bole district police command has launched an investigation into the incident in the interim.
The affected families have also stated that they wish to resolve the situation amicably without the involvement of the police.
