Celebrated investigative Journalist, Manasseh Awuni Azuri will tonight, September 28 2021 premiere his exposé titled “The Licensed Sex Predator” on Joy News.
The documentary would air at 3pm and 6:30pm respectively.
The 38:50mins documentary throws light on a quack medical doctor, a self acclaimed licensed health practitioner in Ghana’s capital, Accra who uses his facility to lure and sexually assault women who seek treatment for various illnesses.
The doctor at the center of the documentary is Dr Jonathan Ohene Nkunim and his facility, Nature’s Hand Therapeutic Centre an accredited health institution in Accra.
The documentary captured three women who shared similar experiences despite visiting the facility with different conditions.
Speaking on the AM Show on JoyNew on Tuesday, September 28, Mr Awuri said more women have gone through same in their hand of the same doctor, Dr Jonathan Ohene Nkunim.
He also noted similar practices had been going on on in other facilities in the capital.
“It is sad when you realize there are quite a number of women who have gone through this and aren’t able to speak up because sometimes they are rather taken as the people to be blame by society so more women have reached out to me privately and their encounter with this practitioner and how they escaped narrowly,” he said.
