Mike Foundation donates building blocks, food items to Remar Orphanage home
In the quest to live their slogan which says “Service to Humanity”, Mike Foundation, a benevolent group in Takoradi over the weekend donated 500 pieces of blocks, food items and Clothes to Remar Ghana Orphanage home in Kejebire in the Mpohor District of the Western Region in support of the provision of shelter for the orphans.
With about 260 orphans currently at the Remar Ghana Orphanage Home, Mr Emmanuel Amartey who is the leader of the home indicated to Skyy News that one of the numerous challenges confronting the home is the payment of annual rent. That is why they do appreciate the gesture of the Mike Foundation to help to put a roof on the heads of the orphans they are trying to support to make them fit into society.
Speaking to Skyy Headline News on the sidelines of the presentation, the founder of Mike Foundation, Mr Mike Sulley indicated that giving back to the needy in society is their hallmark since it’s not the choice of anyone to be in an orphanage.
