Some National Democratic Congress (NDC) bigwigs in the Essikado-Ketan constituency are appealing to Dr Grace Ayensu Dankwah to rescind her decision of pulling out of the upcoming parliamentary primaries election.
This comes after some members of the NDC petitioned the vetting committee on Tuesday, April 4, on what they term the inclusion of an ineligible candidate in the parliamentary primaries election.
A reason that was sighted by the petitioners is that the said candidate is unknown in the constituency and hasn’t done much for the people in Essikado-Ketan hence decreasing their chances of winning the 2024 elections.
This ineligible candidate according to the petitioners is Dr Kobi Spio-Garbrah and since their petition was overlooked, Dr Grace Ayensu Danquah decided to pull out of the parliamentary primaries.
According to reports, Dr Ayensu Danquah says she cannot compete in an election with an imposter.
