PTC Interchange construction halt causing unusual traffic in Takoradi – Skyy Power FM
Motorists have been complaining that the sudden halt of the construction of the PTC interchange has been causing unusual traffic recently.
It’s common these days to witness traffic from Tanokrom junction through to Edzii roundabout around Jubilee market in the early hours and late hours of the day.
In an interview with skyy news, some road users said the situation makes it difficult for them to go about their daily activities.
They made it known that in the early hours of the day, they are delayed for work and school.
Again, they said, after a long day at work, they have to endure long hours of traffic before getting to their destination.
Some students said, they are always punished for being late at school and most times, they skip first-period lessons.
Drivers also said they have resorted to using diverse means and different roads that will lead to their destination even though the PTC road in question would have been the best option.
According to them, they do this to avoid the numerous potholes. This they described as very worrisome.
They are therefore calling on the government to resume the construction of the PTC Interchange.
