Officials of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) are on a three-day working visit to the Ghana Gas Infrastructures in Sekondi and Atuabo.
The visit led by the Board Chair of the commission, Mr Ebo Quagraine is to assess the operations and investment infrastructure undertaken by the Ghana National Gas Company Limited, and also to appraise themselves operationally and maintenance expenditures of the company.
The PURC recently approved an upward tariff adjustment of 30 per cent and 8.3 per cent for Electricity and water respectively.
This new tariff took effect yesterday.
