Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) has cautioned parents to relieve their wards from duties to enable them to concentrate on the ongoing West African Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
In an interview with the media, he explained that this is not the time to burden candidates with house chores, rather, they should be free and relaxed to prepare thoroughly for the exams to come out with better and deserving results.
Mr Benjamin Kessie also advised the candidates especially those in his municipality to refrain from any malpractices as Tarkwa-Nsuaem is not known for that.
He, therefore, asked candidates to learn hard for their results to reflect on the investment made by the Government in free SHS.
He assured them of the government’s undying support, “I will urge all the students to learn hard, and make the sacrifices of the government in education to reflect on their final results.”
“I will want to plead with the parents of day students to relieve them of some duties so they can concentrate on their exams and pass.”
