Students at Sekondi Presby Basic School in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region had to run for their lives when the rains set in yesterday, May 15, as a result of their bad roof.
The school structure is in a deplorable state and is posing a threat to the lives of students.
According to the information gathered, the school closes down whenever it rains and students have to return to their various homes since their classrooms get flooded.
The PTA chairman of the school who spoke to Skyy News said they have made several complaints to the Ghana Education Service (GES) but are yet to get any response from them.
Also, their worry is that the situation may end in a tragedy.
