As part of the commitment to building the capacity of the youth for the greater task ahead as well as changing the fortunes of the constituency, Member of Parliament (MP) for Shama Constituency, Lawyer Erickson Abekah have secured Smart Classroom facilities for some selected schools within the Shama constituency.
Hon lawyer Erickson Abekah on Friday, 14th July 2023, commissioned these facilities to equip the wards for the new digitization drive.
Supumo Dunkwa Methodist and Kumfeku D/A Basic Schools were beneficiaries of such important assets to the education directorates.
Addressing the media, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area Mr Ebenezer Dadzie eulogised the MP for his selfless dedication towards the development of the district especially in the education sector.
Mr Ebenezer Dadzie pleaded with the education directorates, and stakeholders to make good use of such a project and caution them of safeguarding it.
Mr Raphael Aidoo-Taylor who is the district education director, received this item on behalf of the education unit and thanked the MP and the DCE for their continued effort to ease the challenges facing the education sector in the district.
