Skyy Media Group together with its supporters organized the 20th edition of its annual blood donation at the Takoradi Mall on Monday, March 6.
The well-attended event attracted blood donors as young as 18 years, serial donors and people who were donating for the first time.
The Effia-Nkwanta blood donor recruiter, Mr Simon Boateng speaking to Skyy News, described the exercise as generally successful as over three hundred (300) donors turned up for the exercise.
Mr Simon Boateng appreciated Skyy Power FM for their tremendous effort to contribute to the health sector and development of the Western Region through this exercise.
According to him, this year’s event’s turnout was massive and appreciated the donors as well for their selfless effort.
Also, the serene and calm venue for the exercise was well appreciated by the health officials and donors.
