Students of the Roman Catholic school in the Shama District of the Western Region have been asked to stay home for a period of six months by the District Assembly.

This comes after parts of the school building collapsed and injured one of the students making the assembly take this decision.

According to the assembly, the building is in a deplorable state and poses a threat to the lives of the students hence the decision to let them go home as they continue to look for a solution.

After several complaints from the parents of the Roman Catholic School to the District Assembly, the District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr Ebenezer Dadzie intervened and secured a temporary location for them until they find a solution.
