The MP for Takoradi for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, stated that he has extensive political experience and urged the voters to support him to further their goals.
According to the MP for Takoradi, who also serves as the Western Regional Minister, he is the only contender to have emerged victorious from the Takoradi Constituency’s primary since 2008.
After winning the most recent NPP parliamentary primary, Mr. Darko-Mensah thanked the delegates for supporting him for a second term in a statement to the media.
He claimed that the true Takoradi people respected and believed in him.
According to Mr Darko-Mensah, the party had effectively positioned him as a tried-and-true contender who would be more likely to win this year’s legislative elections.
He pleaded with the voters to keep him in office, claiming to have extensive political experience and a keen understanding of parliamentary matters to support the NPP caucus in Parliament.
