Traders occupying Jubilee Grounds to be moved to Paa Grant Roundabout

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, Mr John Laste says plans are underway to relocate traders currently occupying the Jubilee Grounds.

Speaking on Skyy Power FM’s Jolly Breakfast Show, Mr Laste indicated that the traders were moved there due to the COVID-19, now the pandemic is over, they will have to revert to their previous plan of taking them to the Paa Grant Roundabout.

He indicated plans are far advanced and the Metropolitan Chief Executive, Mr Abdul Issah Mumin engaged the traders on Tuesday about the new development.

“Plans are far advanced and these women will be moved to the Paa Grant Round About any moment from now.”

“What we are actually waiting for is to construct a place of convenience for them and when that is done, we have the green light to send them there,” he said.
