During this congress, the “Big Six” – Nkrumah, Edward Akufo-Addo, Joseph Boakye Danquah, Emmanuel Obetsebi-Lamptey, William Ofori Atta, and Ebenezer Ako-Adjei – convened to discuss strategies for achieving Ghana’s liberation.
