A pressure group, Arise Ghana Movement has thrown its weight behind legal practitioner, Mr. Martin Luther Kpebu’s decision to hold a demonstration against the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Dubbed the “Ku me preko reloaded, the demonstration is intended to force the President out of office for his seeming failure in managing the Ghanaian economy.
Speaking on TV3 NewDay on Tuesday, November 1, monitored by GhanaPlus.com, a leading member of the group, Mr Bernard Mornah said the group will join the demonstration.
He explained the issues for which the legal practitioner is leading the demonstration affect all Ghanaians hence the group’s decision to join.
“We will be joining. Personally, I will not be in town within that period but the Arise movement will join with him on that occasion. I have communicated with him, we had series of discussions because the issues that he raised affects not only the bar but it also affects every other Ghanaian,” Mr Mornah said.
Martin Kpebu to led Ku me preko reloaded demo on Nov. 5
Mr Martin Kpebu, a renowned legal practitioner some few days ago announced he will be leading a demonstration dubbed “ku me preko” reloaded, believed to be a replica of what now Ghana’s President Akufo-Addo led in the country under the late former President, Jerry Rawlings’ administration in 1995.
“Ku me preku” was in agitation over the then hardship and oppression in the country.
Mr Kpebu said the “Ku me preko” reloaded to be held on Saturday, November 5, is to force the president to resign since he has shown, he is incapable of managing the affairs of the country.
Demonstrators will converge at the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra at 7am sharp.

I rooted for Akufo-Addo in the 2016/2020 elections
Mr Kpebu confessed on TheKeyPoint on TV3 on Saturday October 29, that he rooted for the President in the lead up to the 2016 and the 2020 elections but has realized he is up to no good hence his current decision.
“Even TV3, you remember 2016, the last TV programme before the election 2016, if you call the tape you will see how I was rooting for Akufo-Addo, oh yes! yes!, he is better than the other one. Rooting for him. Thankfully you should have the tape, at that time Winston Amoah was the host. The last programme before the election on 2016, you will see me there, routing for Akufo-Addo,” he said.
“The last programme before election on Citi FM, 2020, you see me rooting for him, I thought he was good that is why I have backtrack now that I have seen that he is no good at all. He is up to no good,” he added.
