Charles Cobbina’d supporters appeal to party delegates to elect someone solid to be Secretary

Members of the Campaign Team for Mr. Charles Cobbina in the Western Region have pointed out that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) looks forward to presenting a real analysis devoid of emotions and sentiments in voting for the party’s next Regional Secretary.

They said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Region was not ready to entertain emotions and lame sentiments hence, members should not delude themselves into thinking they can just present someone who is not courageous, decisive, and firm for the position of the Regional Secretary going into the crucial battle of 2024 elections.

“We will look miserable if we don’t present someone solid to engineer agendas, projects, and initiatives competitive enough to give us a clear advantage”, they stressed.

The sympathizers of the Secretary hopeful made the appeal in an interview with the Newsghana in Takoradi.

They, therefore, rallied support for Mr. Charles Cobbina popularly known as ‘Kempes’ and said he (Mr. Cobbina) was a seasoned politician and a renowned administrator, very business-oriented, an effective and efficient one who has carved a niche for himself as a good listener and a credible patriot, adding that his love for the well-being of the grassroots was impeccable.

Mr. Ato Kwamena, a member of the Campaign Team said, “We, Team Kempes, humbly come to you this day to present to you a gentleman who ordinarily demands no introduction but for the sake of courtesy we will tersely do so. We introduce to you Charles Cobbina, aka Kempes, Western Regional Secretary Aspirant of our great party, the NPP”, he stated.

According to him, the appeal meant that they believe patriots must know and understand the need for them to put their weight behind Mr. Cobbina as the next Regional Secretary.

Mr. Kwamena divulged that candidate Cobbina was known to possess capabilities and competencies paramount for the 2024 crucial battle since 2024 would not be a joke and urged the delegates to utilize his leadership expertise and passion by ensuring he was voted into office in the upcoming constituency and regional elections.

He opined that Mr. Cobbina was a gentleman many members of the party had much respect for and an administrator whose determinant in political life has been discipline anchored on evergreen principles.

He added that he is the most experienced, very innovative with fruitful ideas, a dynamic planner, and a tried and tested strategist.
