Chairman of the disability federation in Yendi municipal, Dawuni Yakubu has called on the general public in the municipal to maintained peace before and after the December 7 general election.
According to the chairman The dangers associated to violence during election period in the country put fear and panic to individuals who are expected to express their foundermental right most especially the disability society.
“Education nowadays is key in our societal development the lack of peace in the country would hinder our development and destroy the future of tomorrow leaders”,he said
Moreover, when violence erupt it would affect the aged and person with different disable condition across the entire nation which would bring down all developmental projects. It would affect the disables more than other people in society disables has no legs to run neither nor eyes to see before they can run when violence erupt.
Also, some of the disables depends on their own business to survive which they carry to the market side to sell just to earned a living. “Violence has no impact on our life”.
Speaking on a community base radio station, Gbewaa FM in the municipality Mrs. Adam Asana has added that, the resources that government would used to development the nation would be used to Carter for the security to make sure that there is peace in this nation.
According to her, “we have no place to go than Yendi and Ghana.
They therefore, plead to political leaders to educate their followers on how to make peace run during and after the general election to let Ghana get more development.
