NDC drags Innolink in 1million ballot stuffing allegations

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused Innolink, one of the printing firms responsible for the printing of 2020 election ballot papers of being behind the 1million excess ballot stuffed in favour of the President by the Electoral Commission.
The party made the accusation when they presented a petition to the IGP, Dr George Akuffo Dampare on Tuesday, November 9.
Speaking to the media about the two pronged petition, the Director of Legal Affairs of the party, Mr Abraham Amaliba said the petition is seeking the Ghana Police Service to investigate and prosecute persons involved in the printing of the exccess ballot papers.
One of such persons he said include Innolink, one of the printing companies in the 2020 elections.
1million excess ballots was found in the care of Innolink
According to Mr Amaliba, the 1million excess ballot allegations made by the former President, John Dramani Mahama was found in the care of Innolink.
“We want the IGP to investigate and then prosecute persons who were involved in the printing of the over one million excess ballot papers”.
“These persons could also include Innolink, one of the companies that had the responsibility to print the ballot papers and whose care we saw the excess one million ballots.”
Mr Amaliba said the party has presented evidence of the 1million ballot stuffing allegations to the IGP.
“The party saw it fit to as it were present to the IGP the evidence that we have complained about that over one million presidential ballot papers were printed by the EC and that we thought that that affected the credibility of the elections,” he said.
Mahama accuse EC of 1Million ballot stuffing
The flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) , Mr John Dramani Mahama while on a Thank You Tour at the Western Region accused the Electoral Commission of ballot stuffing in the 2020 elections.
According to him, the EC stuff a whopping 1Million ballot papers in favour of the incumbent President and 2020 flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa-Akufo Addo.
