Old woman blesses ASABEE

Ahead of the July National Executive Elections of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) polls, Madam Margaret Sarkodie, an octogenarian, has offered blessings to Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng, an aspiring candidate for the National Chairman position.

This was when Mr Boateng paid a courtesy call on delegate as part of his campaign tour to reveal his intentions to them.

“I give you my blessings. I am supporting you because I have worked with you before. I have known you for a very long time,” Madam Sarkodie said.

She recounted how Mr Boateng supported her during his tenure as the Information Minister during the Kuffour Government and how he worked hard

She said, Mr Boateng was the best candidate to move the NPP to victory 2024 adding that his doors were opened to all especially grassroots.

Madam Sarkodie called on the NPP grassroots to vote massively for him as he was the right choice for the party.

Adding that he was smart, competent, hardworking, action man and was capable of leading the party to victory.

“ vote for ASABEE, I know him and know his capabilities and I’m sure he would deliver” she added

She advised Mr Boateng to stay focused, committed and continue the work to help break the right in the coming election 2024.

Mr Boateng, on his part, told the delegates that his vision was based on seven things including unifying the party, strengthening the structures of the party.

Also, empowering youth and women in the party, resourcing the grassroots and sharing roles to aid in fulfilling their mandates.

Mr Boateng, said he would help appointees to execute their mandates to the maximum level and pushing his 60/40 agenda to give grassroots say in appointees of various position in the party.

He revealed that the 2024 election was not about “wearing of tie and big English” but unity and perseverance to break the eight which he stands for .
