Vida Essel-LampteyNana Ama Mcbrown, born Felicity Ama Agyemang was born and raised in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
At a very tender age, the actress was adopted by her Aunty, Madam Betty Obiri Yeboah, and Uncle, Kofi McBrown hence the name Mcbrown.
She attended St. Peter’s International Residential School, Minnesota International, and then to Central International.
She furthered her education at Kwadaso L.A. Junior Secondary School, Junior High School (JHS) now; however, she was unable to sit for the basic certificate examination as she dropped out along the line.
Ms. Mcbrown rosed to fame in a television series “Tentacles” and later in Kumawood movie, a twi language movie, titled “Asoreba”.
She has owned many awards in line with her work and currently holds ambassadorial deals with countless brands in Ghana.
Nana Ama Mcbrown is married with one child.
