A man is not a source of income; make your own money
Socialite Efia Odo believes that women should not be dependent on men for their livelihood.
To her, men are supposed to be helpmates and not money-making machines for their women, as it happens in Ghana.
She believes that the orientation given to young girls by their mothers in Ghana is worrying and should change.
Making this known in a tweet she shared on X, she said, “A man is not a source of income! A man is supposed to be your help mate not an atm card”.
This conversation keeps coming back on social media as some women claim they need to meet men who are their destiny helpers to make it in life.
To many, they will rather be with men who have money to spend than make their own money.
