Address me as a musician not a reggae, dancehall artiste
Ghanaian Singer, Epixode born Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo has disclosed that he would love to be addressed as a recording musician and not a Reggae or Dancehall artiste as already known.
According to Epixode who has lately switched to doing Highlife, he’s so versatile that he wouldn’t want to be recognized as an artiste who does one particular genre of music.
He told Amansan Krakye in an interview MyNewsGh.com sighted “Just like you said I’m very versatile in terms of my music composition lately but I would love to be addressed as a recording artiste.
He explained “Not a Highlife artiste or Reggae Dancehall and I know that all my oldest fans are reggae dancehall and my new fans know me for my Highlife songs.
‘Maybe tomorrow by the time you wake up I would have dropped a jazz song or RnB so for now I would want people to address me as a musician,” he added on Property FM in Cape Coast.
“I believe with that it would cover both Highlife, reggae and the rest of the genres that my fans have come to identify me within the music scene,” Epixode said on the show.
