Afua Asantewaa almost gave up on Day 2 of sing-a-thon
Dr. Grace Buckman, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum’s medical doctor, says Afua almost gave up on day 2 of the sing-a-thon.
She says the lady left everything and wanted to give up.
However, after she was attended to by her team and was spoken to by her psychologist, Afua regained her mojo to continue what she had started.
Dr Grace Buckman was speaking on Accra-based Joy FM when she revealed this.
“One of our difficult days was day 2. Day 2, late morning, afternoon thereabout, where I think she just stopped everything and just left the space. She says she is not doing it again. On Day 2, I actually thought everything was ending.
Then again, our psychotherapy was very important, working on the mind. At that time, the psychologist wasn’t around, and we had to call on a speaker; we knew what to say. The team was solid, so within a few minutes, she got up and said, I’m a champion let’s go, let’s do this,” she said.
