AK Songstress blames hardships in Ghana for low digital music streams
AK Songstress who is known privately in the Ghanaian music space as Akosua Kwakye has spoken about hardships in the country.
Commenting about why Ghanaian musicians get low streams from their digital platforms, she said hardships in Ghana are extra.
Apart from hardships in the country, AK Songstress also believes that the expensive cost of data can also be blamed for their low streams.
“Data is expensive all over the world and things are very difficult everywhere you go but the hardships in Ghana are extra,” she said on Property FM sighted by MyNewsGh.com
“I will say that expensive data is also a factor but not limited to that alone which contributes to our low streams here in Ghana unlike the Nigerians.
“I think I agree somewhat with anyone who says that the expensive cost of data is the reason why most Ghanaians here in the country can’t stream our songs,” she told Amansan Krakye, the host.
