Betting better than stealing public funds
Ghanaian musician, Odakky Andy has stated that he doesn’t see anything wrong with those who engage in betting or staking lotto.
He remarked “I’m not against those who stake lotto or bet because maybe that’s where they also get money to feed themselves, their wives and kids.
“As for me right now I can’t decide whether I’m for or against it but what makes people feed themselves apart from stealing isn’t a sin,” he added as MyNewsGh.com sighted.
Talking to Amansan Krakye on Property FM in Cape Coast, the singer said it’s better to partake in the lottery than to engage in an armed robbery.
“If an armed robber goes to put a gun on someone to steal their hard-earned money or belongings as for that one it is a crime,” he continued on the show.
“But to invest your money in something like lottery or betting and winning big out of it shouldn’t be a problem if that’s what they do to make ends meet,” Odakky Andy stated.
