Citizens Irresponsible disposal of plastics should be blamed for flooding not gov’t
Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, better known by her stage name in the showbiz scene as MzVee, has said citizens must be blamed for the flooding in Accra.
Speaking on Property FM in Cape Coast with Amansan Krakye in an interview, MzVee said we can’t blame everything on the government.
She lamented profusely the recent floods in the Greater Accra Region and blamed citizens for the disposal of plastic waste and bottles.
She said “We can’t blame everything on the government although the government is to be blamed a lot but I feel the citizens must also take the blame.
“I saw people posting floods and stuff like that, yes our drainage system is really horrible and the government has to look at that,” MzVee opined as observed by MyNewsGh.com
“But If you see the amount of plastic bottles I don’t think the government came to put them there so I think we’re all to blame for these things,” she concluded.
