Combining business with pleasure most at times doesn’t work
Ghanaian afrobeat female artiste, Sefa born Sefadzi Abena Amesu has advised ladies who want to be musicians about how to cope with sexual advances from men.
“I always tell the ladies who want to be musicians that no matter how talented you are as long as you are a woman and as long as you’re beautiful you’d have people making advances at you,” Sefa told Amansan Krakye.
The vocally skilled female performer who is signed to DBlack’s Black Avenue Muzik label said that how females respond to sexual advances will determine the reaction they’ll get.
“You’d have men who will be coming after you and say I love and stuff but how you’ll respond to it is the reaction you’ll get,” she disclosed on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
According to the winner of the Popular Afrobeat Song of the Year at the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) with ‘E Choke’, mixing business with pleasure most at times does not work.
“But for me I know that I’m here for the business so I’m not here to mix business with pleasure because most at times does not also work,” she told the host on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.
