Current crop of Ghanaian musicians do great and wack songs
Veteran Ghanaian artiste, Joe Frazier has satirical remarked that there are some songs by the current crop of artistes that when you hear, you want to know the face behind it.
“Which artiste is that has two different meanings, it is either which artiste did this wack song or which artiste did this great piece of music,” he disclosed.
Joe Frazier who has been in the music scene for the past two decades told Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com that not all the current crop of artistes can be classified as exceptional.
“Not all the current musicians that are in the industry that can be exceptional and so there are some songs that when you hear you ask yourself which artiste is that,” he stated.
According to the ‘Yaa Maame’ popular rapper who is best known for his lyrics, rhymes and funny punchlines, some of the new crop of artistes currently in the Ghana music industry are not good at all.
“The new crop of artistes in Ghana currently, some are very good but some are also not doing good music at all and it’s everywhere in the world,” he said.
