Empress Gifty mocks ‘Table of Men’ after Piesie Esther’s VGMA ‘fiasco’
Renowned Gospel songstress, Mrs Gifty Adorye known in the music industry as Empress Gifty has sarcastically trolled members of the ‘Table of Men’.
The Table of Men which is made of popular media discussants and Gospel music promoters heavily backed Pieisie Esther to win the ‘Artiste of the Year’.
However, at the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) held at the Conference Center on Saturday 6th of May, Black Sherif was adjudged as the penultimate winner.
Expressing her sentiments on social media after Ghana’s biggest music night, the wife of the controversial politician wrote “I need a new TABLE Tomorrow” accompanied by laughing emojis.
The contest for the 2023 VGMA became exciting when Pieisie Esther went all out to solicit for votes with the backing of the members of the ‘Table of Men’.
The Church of Pentecost also took to their social media handles to campaign vigorously for Piesie Esther but she failed to win the most coveted award on the night.
Despite failing to win the Artiste of the Year, Pieisie Esther took home the ‘Gospel Artiste of the Year plaque alongside the ‘Gospel Song of the Year’ with her ‘Way3 Me Yie’ hit song.
