Everyone knew ‘Gold Digga’ by Black Sherif will be a great hit
Astute sound engineer, Savagemix also known in showbiz as Samsney has given credits to God following the success of his 2021 hit single, ‘Gold Digga’ which featured breakthrough Ghanaian singer, Black Sherif.
The song which got a nomination in the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) for Male Vocal Performance has widely been streamed on various digital platforms and the numbers are very encouraging.
“Almost 2 million views on YouTube, Apple music over 2 million, Boomplay 11 million, Audiomack 5 million after releasing Gold Digga in 2021,” Samsney revealed on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
Talking to Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast, the artistic young producer said everyone around when ‘Gold Digga’ was recorded knew that the song would be a hit but not up to this level.
“The reception for the song was great and first of all after recording the song everybody around the studio at that time knew that this song was going to be great,” he disclosed monitored by MyNewsGh.com
“But we didn’t know that the song was going to be crazy this way and I think that God did the magic for Gold Digga to be everywhere,” he added.
