I couldn’t even perform for 5 minutes –Sista Afia laments
Renowned Ghanaian singer Sista Afia has revealed her much-anticipated Tamale show dubbed ‘Queen Solomon Concert’ was rocked with technical challenges for which reason she could not give off her usual performance.
In a post appreciating the efforts of colleagues and rebuffing negative media reportage, she admitted that she was unable to perform for up to five minutes as the main artiste of the night.
“Expectations were higher, so I don’t blame people for not seeing that hype after the concert. I couldn’t even perform for 5 minutes on stage but my love for Tamale remains, regardless”, she revealed.
She is however appreciative of the love shown her by various institutions in the Northern Regional Capital.
“To administrators of the Northern School Of Business (NOBISCO) thank you for recognizing my effort and giving me the ambassadorial position for your 50th anniversary this coming November
Being accepted by the two universities in Tamale, specifically Tamale Technical University – TaTU and University for Development Studies – UDS UDS for collaboration between the creative art industry and the academia, means a lot to me as a young girl”, she disclosed.
