I’ll be a politician soon- Shatta Michy reveals
Ghanaian singer and social media influencer Michy GH has revealed that she will venture into politics in the near future.
“For me, politics is the best work one can do, which confers status on its practitioners, opens doors for them and gives them an opportunity to impact society positively”, she hinted.
Michy GH, who first came to the limelight as a partner of singer Shatta Wale, stated that she would like to pursue parliamentary politics if she finally joins mainstream politics.
“I do have goals. That is why I am going to school now. I have several goals in the future and it wouldn’t include doing this in my 40s or my 50s.
Hopefully, we can go into politics…That’s literally the best job in Ghana at the moment…It gives you a certain status in society that opens doors for you, that might not be open to anyone. So it’s for the status, and the opportunity to help other people,” she revealed in an interview with entertainment journalist Kwame Dadzie.
Michy GH, who recently released a single entitled “Hustle”, noted that even though she is no longer in a romantic relationship with Shatta Wale, she has brotherly love for him.
Michy GH first became a household name as a partner of Shatta Wale. She was known as Shatta Michy. Their relationship has produced a son. Following a split, Michy GH has been pursuing a career in music, social media influencing and humanitarian work.
