I’ll be a wack rapper if I don’t respond to Amerado’s shots at me
After Lyrical Joe was named the winner of the Best Rap Performance at the 23rd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), he was congratulated by his fellow rapper, Amerado.
A few days after winning the award, Lyrical Joe has controversially started a beef with Amerado by dropping a diss song full of punchlines for his competitor during an interview.
In an interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast’s Kastle FM, Lyrical Joe said he’ll be a whack rapper if he’s unable to respond to the several shots thrown at him by Amerado.
“No I’m not Judas for doing a diss song for Amerado but he’s the first to have thrown shots at me in his raps and it’s normal,” he said on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
He continued “Because rap is a competitive thing but this is not the first time that Amerado is throwing shots so it’s actually part of the game.
“What kind of rapper would I be if I’ve won best rapper of the year and someone says something and I’m unable to defend myself then I don’t know what kind of rapper I am,” he ended.
