I’m always worried and pray whenever there’s a heavy downpour in Accra
Legendary Highlife musician, Kwasi Poku Addae better known by the stage name Kwaisey Pee has revealed that he’s always worried and afraid whenever there is a heavy downpour, especially in Accra.
The Ghanaian singer who is mostly known for his soothing voice said the leaders governing the country always have an excuse whenever there’s perennial flooding in the nation’s capital.
“In this country, our leaders have governed the nation anyhow they want and so what will you say and every time that you complain they also have excuses that they give,” he remarked.
Kwaisey Pee revealed on the Kastle Entertainment Show that whenever he finds himself in the country he always prays for God’s protection because Ghana can be labeled as ‘and so help me God’ country.
“There’s nothing we can do to improve it but it’s all about praying when you are in this country that God should protect you because Ghana is a God help me country,” he said in an interview with Amansan Krakye monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
“We find ourselves in a so help me God country so whenever you are living in the country then you surrender yourself in the hands of God,” he added on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
