I’m honoured over claims ‘Pull Up’ sounds like Kuami Eugene
Sky Entertainment signee, Yaw Darling born Samuel Yaw Antwi has responded to claims that he sounds like Kuami Eugene on his recent trending song ‘Pull Up’.
He said “Kuami Eugene is one of the greatest musicians we have in Ghana and his name will be mentioned among the finest top five singers.
“I really like his songs and I used to listen to him when I was growing up but we all have different paths that we’re following to our destinations,” he added.
Talking on Cape Coast-based Property Radio sighted by MyNewsGh.com, the fast-rising singer said it’s an honour for a new artiste who just released his first single to be compared to Kuami Eugene.
He continued “Some people even look alike and being a new artiste with my first single and I have been tagged with Kuami Eugene’s name then it seems there is something worthy about what I’m doing.
“To me, I’m honoured about it but I represent Yaw Darling music so we ought to be happy because Central Region we have someone who is being compared to Kuami Eugene,” he remarked.
“It means that if I get the support from the people from the unset of my music career then very soon I’ll even be compared to Justin Bieber,” Yaw Darling told Amansan Krakye.
