I’ve bigger and better things coming up
Lynx Entertainment signed artiste Kidi has opened up on being crowned the Artiste of the Years at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
According to him, Delay can never be seen as a denial.
Kidi is grateful that finally, his hard work has paid off with Ghana’s biggest award scheme awarding him.
In 2021, Kidi expected to win the coveted award, however, Diana Hamilton beat him to it.
Kidi did not relent in his effort as he kept producing hit songs to entertain his audience. Prior to this day, he has also crowned Artiste of the Year by 3 Music.
“Delay is not denial. ARTISTE OF THE YEAR 5 awards last night. Thank you Ghana#VGMA23,” he said in a tweet.
He indicated that what is yet to come is bigger than what the people of Ghana have seen of him.
He added “Those who know, know. We come from far. We don’t talk about it a lot but we come from far. To God be the Glory. Thank you for staying with me on this incredible journey. More to come so keep staying with me. Golden Boy szn non-stop”.
VGMA 23 took place at the Grand Arena of the Conference Center on May 7, 2022. The awards event saw artistes like Sarkodie, Akwaboah, Fameye and others receiving awards for their work in the year under review.
