Recently, a Kumawood actor known as Kwame Borga allegedly said females in the industry are engaging young girls in hook-ups with rich men for money.

He alleged among other issues that popular figures like Mercy Asiedu and Vivian Jill Lawrence are among those who are into such business after the collapse of their industry.

This allegation didn’t go down well with the names mentioned and some threatened to sue the said gentleman for defamation which has made him render an apology.

Talking about the apology rendered on Kumasi-based Hello FM, Vivian Jill Lawrence stated that he has forgiven him for making such defamatory comments.

She said as seen by Amansan Krakye of MyNewsGh.com, “I was just told today that Kwame Borga has apologized to me for tagging me as someone engaged in hook-up of girls to rich men.

She responded “Of course he’s my son so I have accepted his apology because I don’t have any problem with him but if we don’t make him see that we aren’t happy with what he said tomorrow might say the same thing.

“You see someone of us have been tagged already by outsiders so if someone who is in the industry says something like that then it means you are confirming what we’ve been tagged with,” she stated.
