I've never thought of quitting music  - Kay Smooth

Isaac Nii Adotey Pappoe known by his stage name Kay Smooth, a Ghanaian singer, has disclosed that he was in a music group called ‘Affirmative Action’ with the late Hiplife artiste, Terry Bonchaka.

“We start do music no be today but we give thanks and glory to God. I mean through all the thick and thin He’s been there with us,” he said on Kastle FM.

“I started doing music with the late Terry Bonchaka as a group called Affirmative Action back then at the National Theatre,” he revealed in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com

He added “That was the time I got the name Sweet Honey because that was the title of the song we used to perform on stage at that time with may his soul rest in perfect peace Terry Bonchaka”.

Speaking in a one-on-one interview with Amansan Krakye, the songwriter and performer said he has never thought of quitting music even though he started with the late Terry Bonchaka way back.

“I have never thought of quitting music because I believe it’s a matter of time. Shatta Wale went away for a period of 10 years and came back,” Kay Smooth continued.

“So I believe that it’s just a matter of time and for every upcoming artiste never give up because I know good times will come your way,” he ended on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
