Koby Symple crowned Artiste of the Year at the 2023 Central Music Awards
Young and energetic Highlife musician, Koby Symple has been crowned as the Artiste of the Year at the 2023 edition of the Central Music Awards.
The event which was held on Saturday 25th November at the Centre for National Culture to celebrate hard-working musicians in the Central Region happens to be the 12th edition.
Koby Symple born Godfred Kobina Abavana who is a first degree holder from the University of Cape Coast also won Afropop Song of the Year with the song titled “Straight Win”.
Over the years, Koby Symple has been touted as one of the best live band performers and has worked on songs with the likes of Sarkodie, Medikal and Kofi Kinaata.
The Central Music’s biggest night saw in attendance top government officials, traditional rulers, corporate business executives, media personalities and music lovers.
The 2023 edition brought out a lot of amazing music talents across the 22 districts in the Central Region with 35 official award categories.
