Most musicians don’t acknowledge their ‘ghost’ songwriters
Ghanaian songstress, Mabel Okyere has stated that most musicians fail to acknowledge their ‘ghost’ songwriters behind the scenes.
Speaking on Property FM in Cape Coast with Amansan Krakye, Mabel Okyere revealed how she’s been assisted to come out with great songs.
“The songs that we do we have someone that God has given them gifts that they write songs for other people to sing,” she remarked monitored by MyNewsGh.com
She continued “A lot of musicians have other people who write songs for them but when they come on radio they don’t say it.
“That is one of the big mistakes that we do and so every musician has got someone who directs them so I also have my director.
“When I write a song he’s normally with me for us to brainstorm and look at what’s best for the song and how we should go about it.
“He sometimes gets the chorus but when we enter the studio we’ll get more in addition so he’ll bring his part and I can add mine also,” Mabel Okyere disclosed.
